Many materials can be used as the front cover for capacitive switches, like PC, PMMA, glass, PET etc. The sensor circuit also can be Polyester, copper FPC, rigid PCB and ITO. The capacitive switches also can combine with backlighting elements. Frankly speaking, most of capacitive switches have backlighting features.
